Hello, I am Cate Bickmore – I’m a freelance editor for publishers and writers, technical content and copywriter, and improver of AI text.
With a strong work background in publishing and marketing (both agency side and in-house), I am a friendly, collaborative and highly skilled professional. Freelance since 2013, I now work with publishers, writers, organisations and PR agencies on a freelance, ‘as required’ basis. Much of my copywriting and content writing is for technical and industrial audiences, covering topics like SaaS, fintech, health (including NHS), manufacturing, engineering and industrial production and management. I write in all formats from social posts to marketing collateral, press articles and thought leadership.
My editorial services include structual and development editing, copy editing, formatting and proofeading for publishers and authors alike. I work on fiction and non-fiction/reference books. My publishing clients sometimes ask me to work directly with authors, on a project basis, and I am happy to do this.
